L&#8217;unit\u00e9 traverse la r\u00e9gion de Mont\u00e9limar juste apr\u00e8s que les Allemands se soient retrouv\u00e9s pris entre les tirs a\u00e9riens et d&#8217;artillerie. Un v\u00e9t\u00e9ran se souvient que des corps et des morceaux de corps pendaient dans les arbres le long de la route, et qu&#8217;ils devaient suivre les bulldozers pour d\u00e9gager un chemin car les d\u00e9combres \u00e9taient importants.
